The Chameleon Concept

The chameleon is constantly changing its color. The coloring is usually bright green, with some individual animals having traces of blue and yellow, but like all chameleons it changes quickly depending on mood, health, and temperature.

The use of the Chameleon is a metaphor for “Music is Good Medicine (healing)”.  When the notes of music enter our ears our mood changes, the color of our aura changes.  Like the chameleon our mood (our color) changes from darkness to a brightly colored rainbow.

Listening to a familiar tune may spark a passion from the past and may fill you with a burst of joyous exciting energy or help heal a wound in your soul….Music is Good Medicine.

Music is so powerful that it can turn a plain white canvas into the most spectacular creation of beauty…so powerful that it can change the way we are feeling, our moods, our hearts, and our minds.

Music affects many aspects of our daily lives.  Imagine a movie thriller or romantic flick without any music.

Thoughts from Jake

Music is Good Medicine….I love this program very much and believe it will bring peace and joy to many people.  I’ve always believed that everything in the universe is connected.  We are all entangled in a web of energy.  Music helps us to tap into that energy and discover things that we never thought possible.  Music is Good Medicine because it allows us to express ourselves.  And by simply expressing ourselves, we project that positive energy back into the universe which ultimately makes the world a better place.  The chameleon ties in perfectly with the MIGM vision.  The chameleon represents change.  In this world today, we need to change our thinking.  We  need to realize that everything we do affects the universe which directly affects us.  The planet is a living organism and we,  and the chameleon, are a part of the organism.  And music is the language that connects us and allows us to understand how we fit in all of this.  The chameleon and what it stands for in relations to MIGM, has fixed itself deep within my heart.  When I was a child, I raised a lot of chameleons.  I had about 10 of them.  Everyday, I would catch food for them, take them out of the house to get sunshine, sprayed water in the cage for them to drink, and even played the ukulele for them.  They were my best friends.  Its amazing how something so simple can have a huge impact on your life.  By caring for things other than ourselves, we give back to the world.  And the only way we can care for things other than ourselves is through self expression.  And music is a powerful way to express who we are.  And by expressing who we are, we heal our spirit, other souls, and the universe that embraces us.  Music truly is good medicine…..The chameleon will touch many hearts and fill people’s lives with vibrant color.  The chameleon is our symbol of a bright and healthy future.  A future filled with music…and good medicine.
