Salt Lake Elementary School - Oahu, Hawaii
February 27, 2007Salt Lake Elementary School, home of the dolphins, is a school dedicated to developing their students to be independent and critical thinkers. Jake went with full energy to entertain a group of about 500 1st and 2nd graders. Mahalo to Traci Takehara, a teacher at Salt Lake Elementary, for organizing this visit. Salt Lake Elementary was running a program where they invited various celebrities to come and speak at their school and Jake was selected to serenade the students with his ukulele.

The children loved Jake’s music and were so hyper and exited, they could listen to Jake play forever! After the performance, Jake read a book to the students who were quite entertained and loved every second of it. Everyone in the school was so appreciative of Jake and continually asked him to come back for another visit. Again, thank you Traci for this visit.
