Music is Good Medicine

Leeward Community College Presentation

September 11, 2009

Leeward Community College's Associate in Arts in Teaching program allowed Music is Good Medicine to join the Principal's Luncheon at LCC where a mixture of local school's principals, educators, and others involved in the program gathered to learn and share more about the AAT program.

This fairly new curriculum seeks students who have a passion for teaching and education and provides a solid foundation for those interested in pursuing a baccalaureate degree in education.

A warm mahalo to Bobbie Martel, coordinator of AAT, for graciously allowing MIGM to share with these principals our mission and what we can do for their school. Our MIGM presentation stressed the importance of music in the education system and how we can assist in this significant portion of the student's learning foundation.
