January 2010 Event Reports
January 26, 2010MIGM and Jake Shimabukuro hand a busy month to kick off the new year. We started off with a very cultural and entertaining visit to the Kuakini Health Care System Senior Care Center. Following that we made a trip out to Wahiwa's Leilehua High School where Jake would conduct a workshop and a performance.. Then, Jake would break the silence rule at the Hawaii State Library. To finish off the week Jake would express a deep and meaningful message to the students of The Pacific Buddhist Academy at the Hongwanji Temple.
