If everyone played the ukulele the world would be a better place

Music is Good Medicine

From Lori Fujimoto - Thornton Creek School - Seattle, WA

March 12, 2010

The 300 students, teachers and parents at Thornton Creek School in Seattle, Washington were treated to an incredible performance by Hawaii's Jake Shimabukuro.  He filled our ears with unbelievable ukulele music, our minds with his passionate message and our hearts with the aloha spirit.  Thank you so much for arranging for Jake Shimabukuro's appearance at our school.  We could not have a better role  model for young children than Jake.  He was humorous, entertaining,  sincere, engaging and so talented.  All of the students and adults   raved about his wonderful talent and rapport with children.  His message about why music is good medicine came through strong and  clear.  His performance rang through our hallways all day and put  everyone in a terrific mood.  Thank you Jake for your music, message and generosity.  You made  a difference in many lives.
